66ERS PLAYERS INVITED TO NBA TRAINING CAMPS

TULSA, Okla., Dec. 12, 2011— The Tulsa 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, have announced that guards Dwight Buycks and Jerome Dyson and forward Marcus Lewis were invited to participate in NBA training camps that began across the League this past weekend.

Buycks was invited by the Phoenix Suns, Dyson by the New Orleans Hornets and Lewis by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Each player started all six games while with the 66ers this season. Dyson and Lewis were also part of the 2011 USA Pan American Team that earned the bronze medal in Guadalajara, Mexico in October.

Buycks, drafted in the second round of the 2011 NBA D-League Draft by the 66ers, averaged 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.8 min.

Playing in his second season with the 66ers, Dyson was averaging 19.7 points, 3.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 32.5 min.

Lewis, who began his third season in Tulsa in November, averaged 15.8 points, 12.7 rebounds (second-highest in the NBA D-League), 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 38.7 min.

The 66ers return to the court this weekend, Dec. 16 and 17. Tulsa will host Reno on Friday and Springfield on Saturday, both tipping at 7 p.m. inside the Tulsa Convention Center.
